We meet you early, usually before sunrise or a couple of hours before sunset, because the light at the overlooks is most of the reason to be there. We hike in together, you say your vows wherever feels right, and then we wander for a while. A ridge, a creek, the road back to the cabin. We photograph and film all of it, including the parts that aren't a ceremony.

Elopements with both of us start at $1,800 for up to four hours of photo and film. If you want a small ceremony with twenty people and dinner afterward, that's a micro wedding, and we'll build a longer day around it.

Natural Bridge is the famous one, a 65-foot sandstone arch you can walk across, reached by trail or by the sky lift, with Lover's Leap and Lookout Point nearby. Sky Bridge and Chimney Top Rock in the national forest have big open views and short walks from the parking areas. Grays Arch is a longer walk and feels like it belongs to you. Creation Falls on the Rock Bridge trail is the waterfall option.

The Gorge is also full of cabins with their own views. Some of the best elopements we can picture happen on a deck at dusk with nobody else around.

A Kentucky marriage license comes from any county clerk in the state. Both of you go in person, there's no waiting period, and it's good for thirty days. Small ceremonies in the national forest generally don't need a special-use permit; the state park spots have their own rules. We'll check the current requirements with you when you book and help you find an officiant if you need one.

Fall is the busiest season and the prettiest. Weekdays are quieter. Spring brings the waterfalls up and makes the trails muddy. Winter is cold and empty and, honestly, beautiful.
