Lexington, Kentucky

A Lexington wedding videographer who listens first.

Nathaniel shoots and edits every Seen wedding film himself. He cares about the sound more than most people expect, and he keeps rolling after everyone thinks the moment is over.

01

What you get

A highlight film, four to six minutes, cut from the whole day, with your own vows and toasts carrying it instead of a voiceover. A full-length ceremony edit with every word in it. The toasts and speeches, uncut. And a sixty-second vertical edit for your phone, because that's the one you'll actually show people.

Small microphones go on both of you, a recorder sits near the officiant, and we take a feed from the DJ. That's the difference between a film you watch once and one you put on every anniversary. You can hear what was said.

02

How Nathaniel works a room

No light panels at the ceremony, nothing pointed at the dance floor, and no stopping the day to redo something for the camera. Two small cameras, a gimbal when it helps, and a habit of moving around the room rather than planting in the aisle.

When Clara and Nathaniel work a wedding together, the film and the photos are made by two people who already know where the other one is going to stand. Your first look gets shot from two angles at the same time instead of being done twice.

Delivery and cost

Film coverage starts at $2,800 for eight hours. Both of us for ten hours starts at $4,800. Films are delivered within ten weeks, and we call before we send them because we like hearing the reaction.

We're in Lexington, so travel within 60 miles is included. Further than that we charge what it costs us, nothing added, and you'll see the number before you book.

Places

Lexington spots that film well

Rooms with good light and manageable sound make a better film. A few favorites around Lexington:

Keeneland

Open sky, long straightaways, and the paddock at golden hour.

The Vintage Barn at Merefield

A horse-farm barn with a chapel, chandeliers, and string lights that read well on camera.

The Apiary

A downtown garden venue where the ceremony audio comes out as clean as the pictures.

Spindletop Hall

Classic rooms and lawns that catch the last of the light.

Ashford Acres Inn

Sixty-four acres in Cynthiana, with room for a drone when the airspace allows it.

These are venues we'd like to work at. We aren't affiliated with any of them.
